Canon (indicate anime, manga, game version if there are distinctions): Macross Frontier
Setting of Origin (country, year, planet name, descriptive, flowery language goes here if unknown specifically, approximate to our time): The colonial space fleet Macross Frontier, which is basically modeled after San Francisco, in the year 2059.
Typical Style of dress (pics are awesome): Right now, she's in her casual clothes but she has her concert dress with her and she'll probably get her other outfits later.
Jusenkyo (spring) curse? None!
Other typical status changes, island-borne or canon: I... don't think so...?
What will incite emo? Violent/bloody/death-filled scenes will make her freak out majorly, and so will talking about her childhood (because she doesn't remember any of it).
Rage? Nothing would really get Ranka genuinely mad, but treating her like a child/like she's stupid will get her a little upset.
NO U response? Telling her she can't be a singer, calling her childish (despite the fact that she is--), stuff like that.
How do they see the Island, in a symbolic, metaphorical sense: She actually likes it! She's amazed that she's somewhere that has a real sky and a real ocean, but she really wishes she could at least contact her peeps from the Frontier so they'd know she's alright/wishes they were all with her.

-Is there anything you need us to KNOW about interacting with this character? Special physical features, fighting abilities, STUFF: Ranka's really shy, so it's really easy to get her flustered. She reacts pretty badly towards violent scenes though, and if you treat her like a child or call her childish (which she kind of is), she'll get a little mad.
