sheryl nome	(canon relationship)	A very important person to Ranka. Sheryl is Ranka's idol, but before that she's Ranka's mentor, rival and best friend. In fact, being with Sheryl so much and living with her has made her more of a big sister to Ranka by now. She is very thankful to have Sheryl around on the island because it gave them a chance to get closer and open up to each other, which is something that she knows Sheryl has trouble with considering how Ranka stole her thunder back on Frontier. Ranka does feel bad about that, but knows that Sheryl is a strong person despite it all and, truthfully, is infinitely more talented than herself. But a girl can have fun competing, right? Ranka will always always admire her and will be patient until the time comes when Sheryl can trust her enough to open up to her about her feelings. Ranka will be there for her no matter what!
nagi springfield	(island relationship)	Nagi always used to scare Ranka, and although that's still true to a lesser extent, she's largely comfortable around him now. He's encouraged and cheered her on so many times that she's essentially come to consider him as a father/big brother figure and greatly appreciates all that he's done for her, especially helping at her concert. He's not as blatantly mean to her as he used to be, but he still does whacky things like toss her up in the air for no real reason. She really does trust him, though, and knows that he's got nice fatherly moments alongside the bully ones. He also has overprotective moments and is sometimes afraid to think that she might never get a boyfriend if Nagi scares all the potential suitors away. But! He said he would start training her in the new year, so Ranka's a bit anxious to see what that means.
ryoji mochizuki	(dropped)	Where to even begin. Ryoji stirred something in Ranka from the very first time they met just from being so charming and forward, but she forced herself to dismiss them since she still really, really liked Alto then. But as time passed on island, she began to spend more time with Ryoji than Alto. She probably had something like a crush on him from the start, but never really realized what it was until Alto had been gone for a long time. Finding out about Ryoji's true identity also made her want to protect him and make him happy. But even then, she fumbled with herself and felt like she was taking advantage of his kindness and didn't know if there was a way to be honest with herself and with him without it exploding in her face like it did with Alto... which led to so much hesitation that she never told him how she really felt. With that, she was devastated when he left, but her friends helped her through it, and she eventually brought herself to finally tell him how she felt through her New Year's Eve concert. Even though she doesn't know if she reached him at all, she hopes that he remembers her and never loses hope. And even though it was the island and not directly him, receiving a pair of earrings that match the bracelet and necklace he gave her for Christmas has given her hope that she'll meet him again someday, be it on island or elsewhere. Ryoji will always be a part of Ranka, even when she might move on.
katara	(island relationship)	Katara and Ranka weren't close in the beginning, but since they both found out about Ryoji's being Death, they've become better friends. Ranka greatly admires Katara for being confident, beautiful, talented and strong-willed. Katara was the one who ultimately got Ranka to admit to herself with confidence that she liked Ryoji, only by then it was too late. After that, Katara kept it real by telling Ranka that it would probably be best for her to move on. After Ranka's concert on New Year's Eve, Katara determined that Ranka has reached Closure! Yay, even though part of Ranka will always hold herself responsible for not realizing earlier.
jay	(island relationship)	Jay and Ranka had a very memorable first meeting, what with the chocolate kisses and such. Even though they decided to forget and get over it, it really didn't help that they were Moe Note'd awhile after. This made for very awkward times. They've both largely moved on from that, though, and though Jay still seems to be pretty annoyed with her, she knows he at least tolerates her. She'll admit though, that he's really difficult to understand and to talk to sometimes, and that her thinking of him as a good friend is probably comletely one-sided, but she won't give up!
minato arisato	(island relationship)	Ranka knew about Minato even before he arrived on island, thanks to Ryoji's babbling about him. But she can definitely see that he lives up to the hype! He was very helpful to Ranka when she was having a hard time with everything after Ryoji left, and was the one who suggested having a concert for him. For that, Ranka's extremely grateful. She feels a bit bad that all their conversations always lead back to Ryoji somehow, but she can't help it gd it. :( It'll die down someday, Minato! Also admires him for being able to do what she and Ryoji couldn't: fess up and start a relationship!
ruby	(island relationship)	The type of fanboy Ranka would rather have over Blade and Eitarou. Ruby was one of the first people Ranka met on the island, and thinks he's very adorable! Ai-kun likes him v. much as well. Ranka appreciates Ruby a lot because he was very helpful when she decided to have her first concert on the island, and since then they've been good friends! She also thinks his Pokemon are so so adorable aaah.
negi springfield	(island relationship)	aka Nagi's adorable son aka adorable little brother figure. Ranka thinks Negi is the nicest, cutest thing that could ever have Nagi's genes in him. She finds it very impressive that he has strong magic, is a teacher, and is infinitely more polite than his father, and he's only ten years old! Though, being that much younger than Ranka, she feels a little protective of him, big sis style. Ranka is truly, truly grateful for Negi's help at her New Year's concert especially since he was whizzing around making sure everything was going well.
emiri adachi	(island relationship)	Minato-kun's girlfriend awww yeah. They met a long time ago, when Kazu was still around, but didn't really start talking until that time Ranka was being miserable, and Emiri helped cheer her up and pump her up. Ranka thinks Emiri gives great advice. Admittedly, though, she's a bit envious of her and Minato for being able to actually confess to each other and start a relationship. But she's very happy for the both of them, since they seem like a good match!
azusa nakano	(island relationship)	Azusa and Ranka met after her concert, and knows her as a member of Mio's band. She's glad Azusa thinks of her well, but the feeling is mutual on both ends, because Ranka really admires that Azusa can play the guitar very well. After asking Ranka to sing one of their club's songs, she asked Ranka if she'd like to help out as the new vocalist, and Ranka accepted. Ranka thinks becoming part of a band instead of a "one-girl act" as Nagi said will be a very refreshing and most of all, fun experience!
zack fair	(island relationship)	An exceptionally nice guy! Truthfully, she initially approached him because... well, he was doing a lot of gd squats but he also reminded her a lot of Ryoji, what with the black hair and pretty blue eyes. After talking to him a lot, though, she realized they're a bit more similar than she'd thought. But that's where it ends, since apart from being super nice and calling her cute, Zack is far more goofy and fun-loving (and brave) and very not-flirtatious. Ranka has probably found big brother #4.
hamrio musica	(island relationship)	Ranka and Musica had an awkward first meeting after her concert! He was still brand-new to the island then, so she took him around and told him about stuff. She's a bit afraid he thinks she's weird, since inadvertently showed her vulnerability a lot during their first meeting, but they've been able to interact on a more friendly, less awkward basis since then! They also explored the ruins, and he gave her a necklace from there and told her to keep it until he could sell it. She knows it wasn't anything special, but appreciates it nonetheless! And though Ranka hesitates to admit it, she did think he was pretty cool when he was fighting off mummies.
mikuru asahina	(island relationship)	Mikuru was Ranka's during her first Christmas on island! They've been on pretty amicable terms since then, and probably bonded some while they were both Muses for the musical! Ranka thinks Mikuru is very pretty and very nice, though it does seem odd to know someone who seems even more wimpy than herself.
hiro ibuki	(island relationship)	Ranka didn't really like Hiro at first because of his skewed perspective of aliens, but that's simmered down abit since then, especially after finding out about him and Sheryl. She just hopes he knows what he's doing!
yusuke urameshi	(island relationship)	These two were off to a very bad start. Ranka lent him her coat and he left her in the cold, and he didn't really bother explaining that she could've kept warm with his pet bird thing. So she got a cold. But it's been pretty forgive and forget since then, and Ranka does have to admit that he's pretty reasonable when it comes to some things, though she did get annoyed when they started talking about Ryoji and he kept making her feel stupid. :\|
itsuki koizumi	(island relationship)	Ranka's first impressions of him were that he was very handsome and gentlemanly, but also very mysterious! Which hasn't changed much since then, but she's glad to have his support!
raven	(island relationship)	She confused him a bit when they first met, but she knows he's an okay person! Also pretty old. 8(

eitarou sakuma	(island relationship)	Stalker 2
kallen stadtfeld	(island relationship)	Ranka also has mixed feelings about Kallen. They never really talked to each other, and it doesn't help that part of Ranka feels like she stole Alto away from her and Sheryl, but she does appreciate Kallen being supportive and giving advice when Ranka was feeling down. Except she kind of negated that when she called Sheryl stupid at a party.
